School Awards….

Well, it is the last days of school and awards were given out today. Lauren received a couple. She got the Principle’s Math Challenge T-Shirt. They had to do so many math facts in one minute each month. She also received two Physical Fitness awards. One from a school fitness test and the other is the Presidential Active Lifestyle Award. We tracked the exercise she did at home. She would have receive 100% attendance, but she was sick one day. Oh, well. Next year. You also get to see her new hair do. She got it cut in a bob. Our friend Courtney cut it for her. She is so talented. Thanks Courtney!!

Cinderella….

Lauren’s school choir did the musical “Cinderella”.  We couldn’t take any video due to copy write, so I got a couple pics.  They did this at the beginning of May.  Sorry it took so long to post.

No Tooth Fairy for Wendi.....

Sunday night I bit down on a piece of chicken and hit something hard. It hurt like heck. So I spit out the chicken and felt my tooth. Big crack down the side and on the top. Luckily it was my last bite of dinner and not my first. I saw the dentist the next day. I went in hoping to have a crown and came out with my tooth gone :o( Now I have a nice gap. Thanks goodness it isn't a tooth that shows when I talk or smile. Now I get to have a bridge put in. Maybe they can put a design on the tooth. Lauren told me at dinner that it will grow back. We told her it wouldn't and that is why we always take good care of our teeth!!

Lauren’s Baptism…

May 2, 2009, Lauren was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  It was a wonderful day!  We had so much love and support from family & friends.  We are so proud of Lauren & her decision to be baptized.  We love you so very much!!

Happy Birthday!!!

Today is Mikey's birthday!! Yeah!! One more year older and still no gray hair. Not fair!! Happy Birthday Mikey. We love you so very much. You are a great husband and father. You are our rock. We would be lost without you. Thank you for all you do for us. We hope you have a wonderful birthday!!!

National Anthem

Last night the Citrus Heights choir and two other school choirs (I can't remember the schools) sang the National Anthem at the Rivercats game. Lauren is in the front in a white shirt next to a girl with ponly tails. We are so proud of her. They did a great job. We had lots of fun. One of the girls in her choir, Emily, even got one of the foul balls.

Lauren’s 8th Birthday Party…

We had Lauren’s party on the 4th.  We just did a simple party seeing as she got a big gift.  I got some crafts from Michael’s.  They decorated crowns and put together bracelets and necklaces.  They then decorated star cupcakes.  She had a good day.
