We had Lauren’s party on the 4th. We just did a simple party seeing as she got a big gift. I got some crafts from Michael’s. They decorated crowns and put together bracelets and necklaces. They then decorated star cupcakes. She had a good day.
I should have done this last night. Lauren’s 8th birthday was yesterday. It’s hard to believe she is already 8. She is growing up too fast. She is a beautiful, kind, loving, sweet, caring, funny and many more daughter. We love her so much and are so thankful she is in our lives. Here are some pics of last night. We went to dinner at Olive Garden. Lauren wore this pink crown that my friends had given me for my birthday.
Her Grandma Maire & Grandpa Ray (Mikey’s mom and step-dad) gave her two books. One on the Rain Forests that is really neat and one that she has been asking for—Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Tootsie (my mom) gave her a bathing suit.
We were able to get her something big this year due to our tax refund. You will see what it is in this video…
We had gotten her a couple games and told her that she could take them over to our friends house and play them with them. That is why at the beginning she said "not another Wii game". She didn't get to have it in her room though...
Lauren’s birthday is on the 30th. Her Uncle TT & Aunt Jerrie came by yesterday and brought her birthday present. So, of course she gets to open it…..
I love the skull & bones. The skull has a bow on the head.
We got Lauren’s report card yesterday. They don’t get A’s, B’s, C’s, etc. It is a 1-4 and 4 is doing the next grade level work. So Lauren got 3’s on everything but her writing. She got a 2+ on that. Guess we need to start working on her journal we got her for Christmas. She also received a certificate to Red Robin for having perfect attendance. Hasn’t missed one day since the beginning of school. We are so proud of her :o)
