Our Graduate…

Mike had his graduation ceremony Friday, May 7th.  We are so proud of him.  It was a long 9 months of him gone Monday-Thursday nights.  He had perfect attendance and Dean’s List.  Congratulations!!!  We love you!!

Mikey’s 37th Birthday….

Friday the 16th & Saturday the 17th (his actual birthday) we celebrated Mikey’s birthday.  Friday night we went out with a friend who was in town for the weekend.  We haven’t seen her in about 6 years.  We walked around Old Sacramento and then ate at Joe’s Crab Shack.  They had him dress up and walk around.

Saturday we went to his dad’s to celebrate his birthday along with his brother (whose birthday is the 18th).  It was his dad, his step-mom, brother, sister-in-law, my mom & her husband, Lauren, me, & Mikey’s grandpa.  We had a good time BBQ-ing.   Lauren loves the backyard.

It was such a beautiful day!  Happy Birthday Mikey!!  We are so glad you are ours :o)

Happy Birthday….

Happy Birthday Lauren!!  Can’t believe she is already 9 years old.  Time is going by too fast.  She is growing up to be such a sweet, loving daughter.  We are so blessed to have her.  Happy birthday baby!!  We love you!!

Hoping & praying….

We put in an offer on this house.   It is a short sale.  The seller accepted our offer, now we just wait for the bank to do the same.  Then hope the inspections go well.  We are praying this is to be ours. 

Waiting….

I wish waiting was easier. We have all our interviews done for adoption. Now we just have to wait for a match to come along. Hopefully soon…

We put an offer on a house that is just around the corner. We love the house and the more we think about it the more we like it. So now we have to wait and see if he will accept our offer and hope all will go smoothly. Hopefully soon we will hear something…

So we are just doing the day to day while we wait…

Adoption update….

We are one step closer.  Lauren had her interview on the 21st.  All went well.  Our worker said that she will do a rough draft of our interviews and then set up an appointment to meet again to discuss what we are looking for.  She said she is keeping her eyes out for a little guy, so hopefully by April we will have an addition to our family.  Yeah!!

Christmas 2009…

Christmas this year we went to Disneyland for two days.  That was our present to the 3 of us.  We had a blast.  We went to Disneyland Tuesday the 22nd and California Wednesday the 23rd.  I think I had more fun at California than Disneyland.  I loved the Grizzly River Raft ride and Soaring Over California was a blast.  Mikey loved the Maliboomer.
