We are so close. We signed papers on Sept 1st. Now we are just waiting to hear when our court date is. Ugh!!!!! We have waited so long. But, it is sooo worth it. The boys are such a blessing in our lives & soon they will be part of our Forever Family.
I thought I would update you all…we had our 26 hearing (sever parental rights) for the boys at the end of June. We have to wait 60 days in case they appeal. So we have 27 days to go until that 60 days is up and we can start the paper work for adoption. It has been a long process, but by doing so, we shouldn’t have any problems later. They are now 13mos old and are starting to take those first steps. Little Man more so than Big Boy. It is fun watching them grow and learn. I will be so glad when we can finally call them Farnham. Then we can have them sealed to us for all eternity. Yeah!!!
I didn’t realize I hadn’t blogged in so long. We are one step closer to getting the boys. In February, reunification services were terminated and the boys case is now in adoptions. We go to court in June for parental rights severed and then hopefully they will be ours by September. Seeing as they aren’t ours yet, we can’t post any family pictures. This is as close as we can get until then.
